It has to be changed and it can be shared by you on other programs, although it's like you've got articles. Yeah. Since how you see on Instagram differs. The best way to see Facebook and how you see on Youtube, how different, how you view onLinkedin or Twitter. And so at the end of the day, what we need to do is really know how people consume content on that, that, that platform and make content that would actually work. Uh, and that's, that's the big difference. You can go through precisely the production and say, fine, I can take a portion of this. It is like you might have a 10 minute video on youtube, however you are going to just slice out possibly two minutes or three minutes on, on Facebook since it is going to perform a whole lot better that way.
So you've mentioned many stages to creating a few of these types of videos. So I suppose we start at the very start, you mentioned prep. Would you take us
Or even linkedin. Yeah. And so that's part of the prep preparatory stage, right? And what we're trying to do is figure out, okay, here's what would work on Instagram. Now there's a hook or something that's a bit better on Facebook and here's something. So you can have the meat of this content be exactly the same. But you are really shooting on the video, the way that it's really delivered is a bit different. And that's where you're actually planning, uh, you know, the different ways to connect on different platform.
Hey that Jamie here and on behalf of the Click [inaudible] staff, welcome back to our movie series where we are discussing video, but specifically the kinds of video you should be generating to drive more profit and more cliquey worthy movie views into your business. In the last movie we discussed the state of the promoting market. When producing content, what's working by today. In this video we are going to go over the video content at a little more detail and discuss about how to create the one video you should be generating right now to drive more clicks, more traffic, and much more sales on any item or service that you're offering.
The article production is most likely the most important component of having a great piece of video out there. And the reason why is because you put a great deal of work in planning, you devote a lot of time doing production, but really where the magic is really actually getting the components that will really engage. And then also the edit itself, um, is pacing will keep people's attention the whole time and you can create pacing. Like we are uh, 1 thing that I look at is, we are trying to determine how we're going to disperse it. We would do it otherwise than on Facebook. As an example. Because that is the way it is on youtube, we would be at a 16. Right? And, and then to, uh, we would burn off in our captions. Uh, we would really upload caption files right to youtube itself.
In relation to make one of them? Yeah. Instead of preparing and it is really interesting because a lot of people, they're more about doing. And I discovered that if you want to be successful, it the way you are going to execute it. So I like to really begin to figure out why I am making the movie. It should have a specific purpose. I think it would be really pertinent to actually have you go through this procedure. What does that sound great? Okay. So let's just say that you are trying to sell some mix. Okay. And you are trying to sell it on media. You've got some product or whatever. Okay. Tell me someone that you truly know really. My own brother and David, um, besides Joey. Okay. So your, your brother David. Okay. Chris. Brother Chris. You are good. Uh, frankly, if you want your video you will need to really have a preparation stage of the way you are going to distribute it. So back you're like, okay, who is going to share this video? Are you going to engage with them? You know, is it likely to be done through advertisements natural or is it going to become a strategy in which you doing organic and adds together? Uh, for me personally, I just love other stations out there. I love pages on Facebook reason they need to really nourish the algorithm. They need to get their posts outreach. And so a great deal of people are willing to talk about your video. Uh they are, they are able to cross post your own video. And therefore it's like coming on their page and it is like an true content, even it isn't theirs.
So it is like getting those hooks. And two, there is those natural hooks within the movie . Like that he got him, you have to reinforce whatever that title is. And I give that some thought. Um, and that the preparatory stage before you go onto the next step. But there is one other thing that I really, really consider is that which, what origin of medium are we going to use? Is it likely to be a Instagram one than Facebook? Is it likely to be much better on youtube or on Twitter? You know, just like you got to examine the stage of who you are trying to reach and what is going to be the ideal method to distribute it. Now, one of the biggest mistakes, it's like, well I will just distribute it anywhere, you know, and you're making a video seeking to go on every platform and that is a huge mistake. Yeah. We're going to discuss the one sort of video in order to blow off your business you have to have, but not just about what that video is. We're going to discuss how to structure and make that video also. Let us go.
Right, right. And something that I found is even once you have a video that's performing quite well, you know, um, the way in which the algorithm works on Facebook and other items, it's like perhaps in fourteen days or seven weeks you do another cut and then upload it, learn from what you already have, all of the information that's there and say, okay, what if we analyzed this down because we had a sort of a drop off here. Perhaps we include, you know, something to pull on them visually here. You can do that. And, and where you are able to do it, essentially you're in a position to succeed because people will be inclined to overlook what they saw, you know, from six weeks ago.
Of course. Yeah, that is logical. Okay. So talking about video editing from type of my expertise and I am not a professional movie editor and I understand just how much work goes into doing lots of the things you say, you know, the, the captions Mimi discovering, actually just putting titles in the top and bottom of your movie can take hours for many people and some people seeing this might not have any clue how to do this. So I suppose in that respect, is it worth the time to do this? Is it worth the time to sit down put into editing the movie or alternatively spending money with someone else to sort of,

But talking about the reason why they adore, you know, Liverpool. And, and also the behind it. Um, so I love to try to identify a few things. These are of what would that individual that when he sees with movie resonate with bullet points. And then two, I do research. Like I wish to go out there and also know just how well I know somebody, I am like, what's going on out there? I do some research on the internet trying to see if there. Particularly when it's dealing with the issue at hand uh. So like for Liverpool, is there anything that's going on that would be in the information which would be applicable to, to the movie now?

And I think he'd need to be sucked in because he tried to figure out what's going on in that movie.
The way you'd then strategy that. Yeah. Now we did a lot of research. We were doing a lot of preparation. We want to start executing on those things. Uh, and for me there's a formula for each and every video and this formula is what creators will need to create for themselves. And there is a few elements for this formulation it, which it's universal for everyone. The first one is, and that we prepared for is a hook. We need to catch their attention. That hook is different on youtube versus Facebook. Let me give you an illustration of that. Much like on youtube the hook would be like five seconds. And on Facebook it is gonna be entirely different since you are, you may have sound on or not. As you're kind of flipping through their feed and you maybe have a , a, maybe a second.
And even on Instagram, it is likely to differ. And so considering this, it is similar to that hook is similar to the most essential part. And I'd really put a lot of effort and energy to try to figure out how you're going to captivate people's attention and how you suck them into the content. after that, after the hook, you can actually reinforce your brand. So if you have a brand, you can have a component. This can be an optional item. Uh, it depends on which kind of content that is video you are producing, you know, also, then two, you're moving into the meat of the content. Now here's something that I found over, you know, 40 some odd billion video opinions. It is like people have a tolerance to observe. And I really don't know whether you've dropped in this class, but I, I've been on Facebook and I have never turned to the sound.
You've got two or three distinct versions of a movie and you may test it to like, like seriously what we do is we'll just throw a couple dollars behind it and and see how it converts. If it Works really nicely, you do not need to spend that much money to figure out if people really click on it, engage with it, just how much they saw the movie to see if it actually works. And actually connect with them on a psychological level and spending the time in place to creating your movie really engage with all the audience, it gives you a greater chance for them to actually share.
So when you actually have these bullet points of things which would really get there, get there, get them excited or something that's going on, I then attempt to consider what value can you truly bring that person. So there that you can actually bring value. Uh, with video content you can aspire, you can educate or instruct, entertain, and occasionally when you are really good you can do all three in the exact same time or you can get two of them. That's when you're really, really great once you're actually giving it lots of thought inside. Now that having been said, once you do that, I try to figure out which value you are likely to bring to your intended viewer. Yeah. And in that video, I try to bring those bullet points bring some kind of value. So whether it's like creating devotion to his staff or talking how bad the other team is, that's some value he'll actually find.
Okay. So Chris, he loves football? Can he have a group? Liverpool. Liverpool. Okay. And is there a, uh, an opposing team that it is only a competition? There is a Coupole likely the greatest ones. Manchester United, that everyone understands. Okay. Okay. So there is heavy competition, like some friction. Okay. So first thing is like, okay, if we're going to actually create a video, we need to have a purpose of the movie. The number two is that we need to identify our audience. Who Do we want watching this movie? So I'd say it would be people that are Liverpool buffs like your brother, like hardcore Liverpool. Okay. And then we need to start breaking down of a few of the things which they, they sort of rally around that would have them excited. And what could be one of those things which you'd think, well, beating Manchester United goals.
Well let us just target everyone that likes Liverpool, right? And let's target everyone that doesn't like Liverpool. And let's see if we could find some things, some. And I believe that you could do this but it will be quite interesting should you infuse a small bit of cash. The outcomes. It's possible to get your silently. Definitely. It's like you have to fortify that hook or you have to reinforce what your value proposition is to receive them in, while it's a title or a thumbnail or however you are pulling them in to that video. Um, you need to reinforce that because in the event that you do not, you're likely to get the hockey stick effect. That means you know, and you not going to get anyone watching it.
So Darryl, at the first video we talked briefly on the type of video content that you ought to be producing, what prefer for anybody that didn't observe that or simply to refresh some memories, what type of video? Which sort of video is that, if there's one video you should create um, as a organization? Yeah, for me personally it's a social video and two to kind of take that a little further then, um, and sort of remind everyone which sort of video that is. Yeah, like, such as the movie portion of the video editing is so critical. It can make or break a movie. It doesn't matter your script is. It doesn't matter your camera and your production is. And for mepersonally, as soon as you're able to do it, it is worth the resources worth the moment. When you really put it together, it is going to convert a lot higher. So going back to your case we said, hey, if we're going to actually make a movie about your brother and his football team about Liverpool, while it's good or bad or whatever, I would like create a list of every, uh, page on Facebook on Instagram that will be pro or con. You know that's who we want to contact. And believe it or not, you know, getting, uh, those personal connections with these people is a means to have increase. And I discovered that if you can get like six or five or 10 channels or pages which are similar to yours that are eager to talk about your articles, I mean that explodes your, your growth, that explodes your, your reach and you're going to have the views that come with it if you actually have done a great job with your video.
So we've discussed the first stage of preparing for a video planning of video. We then moved to obviously production and creating the video. So can talk a little bit about
So when we talk about moving onto each stage, I think this really is, this is very significant as well. There are obviously, well I believe there are two elements you might tell me otherwise. The largest one that people think of is that the proportion of the movie. So if you create in one video, you have got to think about that transcribes into each of the other ones. But is there other, anything else you'd kind of need to be aware of if you're going to be creating content for say, Instagram or Facebook
So is that all for production? You know, like a lot of people place a great deal of consideration concerning how things come like what kind of camera to use and so forth etc. However, I think it's like be flexible. Once you're really doing the video, you'll probably have a script and have like that you're likely to have things Although we ready. They're like, oh, this would be a great deal better when we did so and you also know, shoot variations. Just shoot some different variations like you've got time. Hey, maybe this will function better than that. And you also know, which can aid you the post production phase.
So with that, just to kind of go further into that, and do you load the movie at first to your webpage then contact all these are the webpage to allow them to know it is never, or would you choose a different approach? Yeah I really do that in the preparatory phase. I am known by me, the movies come in so I reached out because it might require a couple of weeks to get ahold of everybody or whatever. Uh, and who knows, maybe you're like, Hey, I will share your movie should you share mine type thing. That is not a bad thing if you are doing PR crossposting. Uh, simply to share a movie is not where the burden is. It and you have to give privileges to cross post your content to them like you have to literally cross post. And that's kind of the key to Facebook, although the exact same for, you know, you are posting their content.
But the algorithm on youtube otherwise, you know, you would do it otherwise onInstagram and different on Twitter. But Facebook, I feel a lot of people that are watching this video need to capitalize on that and that is a simple way to say, hey look, if you could get this page which has a reach of let's say you know, 10,000 likes that they actually posted it, who knows how many of you is they're going to get. Um, and, and you reaches out to all these different pages posting at which it moves back to your video and the analytics gets. Yeah, it is really cool. No, that's cool. Now with approach, like for me personally, I like organic, but you have infused it with, with paid advertisements. Paid ads is the most effective method to get into at the ideal moment in front of the ideal people. And if you understand what you're doing, it could be very, very effective. If you do not know what you're doing, it is still be effective as as soon as you say, fine, we are doing a video around Liverpool, right?
It is like when you find something cool and you are like, hey, you have ta check this out. You know, we must do that. We have to this digital word of mouth. And that is that is what the societal videos do and where it's so potent. And after the core, essentially of the content, you've got to get a call to action. Um, and, and you may not think, well, if it's a societal video, I'm not really doing it , you know, it is simply more of an inspiration or it's just a [inaudible] or whatever. That call to action is still still crucial since are you currently trying to develop an audience? Like recall when we talked about what is the intention behind the video? Or if it is to market products, we need to hit that purchase button right below the video or to push them. Uh, or whether it is for inspirational, maybe it's just like something or a Hashtag to unite a trigger, you know, I mean the list goes on. You know, that may be among the worst things you could ever perform and before we do this, there is a lot. And there are phases, like you mentioned, there is a stage of preparation, there is a point of production, there is a stage of post production, then there's a point for distribution. And each one of these stages are outright critical, uh, and they function in harmony together to truly get your video being seen.
Yeah, that makes sense. And I guess from looking at these three stages, once you've been through those stages a few times, and as you say, you do edits as well, which is vital. And many people might, you know, she movie, I've been guilty of this in the past and it'll throw up believing it's prepared without edited stuff. However, now I can see just how important it is to perform different versions because when you discover things that work, you can simply continue after that blueprint over and over and over again.
